No one's feeling blue in The Festival City when there are buckets of blueberries to gobble up.
Mount Dora tosses these mini globe-shaped fruits into delicious, steamy pies, alcoholic beverages
and all sorts of juicy blueberry creations. There's also toe-tapping blues and bluegrass tunes,
water balloon tosses and many other family friendly activities to enjoy under the blue skies.
Basically, everything is blue.
The Mount Dora Blueberry Festival highlights blueberry farms in the local area. There are more than
100 crafters and vendors, live entertainment, kid zone, and everything blueberry from ice cream to
cakes to syrups and jams. A pie eating contest is popular during the two-day event. There is also
blueberry wine and beer available for adults, plus plenty of time to explore the shops in the

Escape to Polynesia in air conditioned comfort. Polynesian fire is an amazing luau dinner show experience that you will not forget. They began learning the art of Ailao Afi, or Samoan Fire Knife, in 2002 training tirelessly with the legend who invented fire knife dancing, Chief Olo “Freddie” Uluao Misilagi Letuli and his daughter Maile Letuli of Fagagogo on Tutuila, American Samona. The Lavatai’l brothers were the last group to be trained by the late Chief Letuli Olo and his daughter Malie Letuli.

From its home port on Lake Monroe in charming downtown Sanford, the Barbara Lee cruises the St. John’s River, serving up superior food, live music, and dancing. You’ll also have close-up views of the area’s abundant wildlife. You’ll see prolific bird life, majestic great herons, “snake-birds,” osprey, eagles, plus turtles and alligators lazing along the banks. During the cooler months, manatees are often spotted as they move in from the ocean to bask in the warmer river water and snack on water hyacinths.

Before the start of the show, everyone gathers in the great hall. Each guest is given a crown that represents where they are sitting and which color knight they will be cheering for. Once you hear the sound of trumpets, it’s time for the games to begin. During the tournament, you’re given a hearty meal of soup, chicken, corn, a seasoned potato, and a pastry of the castle (vegetarian meals are also available). And remember, this is the middle ages, so your utensils are your good old-fashioned hand around the 1000 seat arena to
sell you a drink or two as well.

The Dali Museum celebrates the life and work of Salvador Dali (1904-1989) and features works from the
artist’s entire career. The collection includes over 2,000 works from every moment and in every medium
of his artistic activity including 96 oil paintings, many original drawings, book illustrations, prints,
sculpture, photos, manuscripts and an extensive archive of documents. Founded with the works collected
by Reynolds and Eleanor Morse, the Museum has made significant additions to its collection over the
years.
